Jan Peter Luther ist Journalist in Berlin. Als Redakteur war er für verschiedene und unterschiedliche Formate bei der ARD und bei n-tv tätig. Seit 2006 war Luther auf Landes- vor allem aber auf Bundes-Ebene in verschiedenen Funktionen für die CDU tätig. Zuletzt war er Bundesgeschäftsführer der Senioren-Union. Seit Frühjahr 2020 ist Jan Peter Luther in der Unternehmenskommunikation der HSH GmbH tätig.

In DNEWS24TV hat Jan Peter Luther einen regelmäßigen TV-Podcast „Luther – hier stehe ich!“.
