Uwe-Matthias Müller ist Gründer und Vorstand des Bundesverband Initiative 50Plus, des Bundesverband Initiative 50Plus Austria und Sprecher des European Center of Competence for Demography.
Bis 1996 hat er mit seiner Frau und den beiden Töchtern in (West-)Berlin gelebt. Nach zwei Jahren im Ausland lebt er heute in Bayern.
Uwe-Matthias Müller kommt viel und gern nach Berlin. „Als Berliner auf Zeit geniesst man nur die Vorteile der Hauptstadt und kann die vielen Unzulänglichkeiten, unter denen die Bewohner täglich leiden, einfach ignorieren.“
