Heute lassen wir schon einmal das Jahr 2023 Revue passieren. Wir fassen zusammen, was wir wo so erlebt haben auf unseren Reisen. Das machen wir in der nächsten Woche auch noch einmal und schauen mal, was uns dazu einfällt, bevor wir uns dann ab Mitte November dem Thema „Weihnachten“ bzw. „Natale“ widmen.

Rezept der Woche
Pollo alla Contadina (Huhn nach Bäuerinnen Art)
Zutaten
1 bratfertige Poularde von ca. 1,5 kg
Salz und Pfeffer, vorzugsweise aus der Mühle
feinstes Olivenöl (z. B. https://porta-vagnu.de/produkt/olio-extra-vergine-di-oliva-igp-marche-bio/ – dieses Olivenöl ist besonders reich an den wertvollen Polyphenolen)
1 kg Fleischtomaten
3 Knoblauchzehen
2 Zweige Rosmarin
800 g Kartoffeln
Zubereitung:
Die Poularde mit Haut und Knochen in acht Stücke teilen, salzen und pfeffern. 4 EL Olivenöl in einer großen Pfanne erhitzen und die Hähnchenteile darin anbraten. Dann für ca. 20 min bei ca. 180 °C (Umluft 160 °C) im Backofen garen.
Die Tomaten etwa eine Minute mit kochendem Wasser überbrühen, kalt abschrecken und häuten, in grobe Stücke schneiden, dabei die Kerne entfernen. Knoblauch pellen und in Scheiben schneiden.
Ca. acht Minuten vor Ende der Garzeit Knoblauch, Tomaten und Rosmarin zum Fleisch geben, würzen.
Die Kartoffeln schälen und in dünne Scheiben schneiden. In Olivenöl kroß braten, zum Schluss erst salzen.
Die Kartoffeln auf Tellern anrichten und die Hühnerstücke mit dem Sud darauf verteilen.
Dazu reichen wir einen leichten Rotwein aus Norditalien. Von Cantine Franzosi gibt es den Riviera del Garda Classico:
